BLS International Service charge
There is a service charge of 14.55 £ (inclusive of VAT) per visa application in addition to the visa, fee payable by all applicants and visa categories.
- Passports are returned back by special next day delivery facility at the fee of £24,95 (Inclusive of VAT) per applicant.
- The SMS and email notification for the processing of the applications is available at a fee of £1.95 (Inclusive of VAT) per application. This is an Additional service.
- The Visa fees can be paid by cash, credit/debit card or postal orders in the name of “Spain Visa Application Centre". Cheque payments and direct bank transfers are not accepted.
- All fees are non-refundable
Brexit - Please be informed that all applicant married to British national are not eligible for EU/EEA Spouse category and they need to apply for Tourist Visa category.
According to both European Union (Directive 2004/38/EC) and Spanish (Real Decreto 240/2007 and Orden PRE/1490/2012) regulations, the following family members of an EU/EEA national are entitled to request a visa to travel to Spain:
- a.The spouse, provided that the marriage bond is still valid.
- b.The common-law partner provided that the relationship is registered in a public registry established for that purpose in a Member State of the European Union (EU) or in a State party to the European Economic Area (EEA).
- c.Their direct descendants, and those of their spouse or registered common-law partner, provided that they have been registered as such in a registry of Member State of the European Union (EU) or in a State party to the European Economic Area (EEA).
- d.Their ascendants and those of their spouse or registered common-law partner who live under their care.

e.Other members of the family who, at the time of the request, reliably certify that:
- In the country of origin, are under the care or live with the EU citizen.
- It is strictly necessary for the EU citizen to take care of the family member in case of serious health or disability reasons.
- f.The common-law partner with which the EU citizen maintains a stable relationship that must be duly proven.

Please note all of the required documentation listed in the checklist is mandatory for all applicants, including such cases where flights, accommodation, insurance and other items may be arranged by applicant’s employer, travel companies or any other companies or individuals.
If applying as a family, all family members must provide their own individual documents. Every applicant who is submitting documents in this Spain Visa Application Centre should attend an appointment in person (including children under the age of 12).
Please provide photocopy of all original documents (including passport (bio page), UK visa/BRP card/UK stamp, previous Schengen visas, etc.).
The Spanish Consulate can request additional documents if need be.

- The Spanish Consulate can request additional documents if need be.
IMPORTANT:
- 1.Please do not staple any documents.
- 2.All documents must be in English or Spanish and translated only into Spanish when stated or requested. If so, documents must be officially translated by a certified, professional translator.
- 3.Please check the “Processing Time” section above for more information.
- 4.An appointment or the acceptance of a visa application and documents by BLS does not guarantee the issuance of a visa. Once an application is forwarded to the Consulate, they may request more documentation or make further requests from you in order to process the application.
- 5.During the processing time the passport is secured in the Consulate. Passports can only be withdrawn during this period through BLS, submitting a written request signed by the applicant that will be forwarded to the Consulate. The passport will be returned via BLS only the following day. No passports can be withdrawn directly from Consulate.
- 6.All decisions regarding the issuance of, duration and number of entries for a visa are at the sole discretion of the Spanish Consulate General in London.
- 7.Applicants are not allowed to apply by post.

Note: We recommend you use a professional visa photo service to ensure your photo meets all the requirement.
Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:
- Taken against a white so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
- Clear share quality and with the face in focus.
- Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
- Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
- Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.
Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the centre..
Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the morning of the next working day to the Spanish Consulate General in London.
Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same.
Please note that the minimum processing time of a visa application is 15 Working Days (but may take up to 60 days). Consequently, the applicants are requested to apply well in advance to the intended date of journey.
The Consulate does not provide information on the state of a visa application nor on refusals of visas. Any email requesting information on these issues will not be answered.
